The Impact of Venture Capital on Entrepreneurship in China

The Chinese government has established a pretty big infrastructure and investment for certain sectors. But when it comes to e-commerce, the government didn't necessarily invest that much. That was funded more by venture capital or outside funding. And then we saw the biggest Chinese companies like Alibaba, Tencent come out in the last 10 to 15 years as a result of that. It's been an interesting dynamic to watch.
