The Mysterious Dimitri Dunskoy
An international team of experts found 200 tons of gold worth an estimated $130 billion. The Dimitri Dunskoy sunk in 1905 during the Battle of Tsushima, the final defeat of the Russian Navy and the Russo-Japanese War. It's believed the captain scuttled the warship after being fatally hit so that the Japanese wouldn't get their hands on its valuable cargo. This Spanish-Gallion mysteriously blew up and sank during battle with four British ships in 1708 while carrying untold amounts of gold from Spain's colonies in South America. Only the salvage rights continue to cause an international battle between governments.
