The Ripper Letters and Tape
Yorkshire Police were still running with the theory that the letters and tape were authentic. Dick Holland released a report to all police forces in England. It included detailed information on all Ripper attacks, which now totaled 16. Report also gave clear instructions as to when a suspect could be eliminated. If he wasn't born between 1924 and 1959, if his shoe size was 9 or higher, if his blood group wasn't B, if he didn't have a northern accent or if his handwriting didn't match the Ripper letters. A man with the same voice as the one on the tape called Sunderland Police and said, tell him it's a fake. When asked what's a fake, he replied
