i had some hip issues for a while. I was trying to witch over from conventional to summo dead lifts. Sumo deadlifts feel really, really good to train. For sub maximal training, they're awesome. Whenever i try to max, it feels like my left hip is starting to dislocate. And then id just have like, shooting pain down my left leg for several days. A lot of the kind of dy warm up modalities out there focus on getting your deep core muscles to activate and do something. There's actually research looking at inter abdominal pressure and how that can affect muscle activation in growing body.
