Turkey's Right to Defend Themselves in Syria and Iraq

The White House said on Tuesday that Turkey has the right to defend themselves from Kurdish militant groups in Northern Syria and Iraq following massive Turkish airstrikes. This is a pretty major shift, I believe in how the US usually approaches Turkey's operations in Northern Syria. They usually condemn them. It's not like they ever threatened to intervene and fight Turkey. But just say to see the White House say this, it's it'spretty big shift.
