Why Are We So Resistant to This Change?

I think we need to do much more in the public system for like, no school, but also for college education. Every single choice I made throughout college was based not on curiosity, but on how would this help me get a job? That's quite common at elite institutions and it needs to be changed. And unfortunately, I think that this is much more likely in the private system.
