Hayek and the Caloque Lipman
There was a sort of proto-Maltpellerian Society meeting in 1937, right, that's largely unknown. In 1938 there was a meeting in Paris called the Caloque Lipman. They too were saying liberalism is everywhere under attack. What are its problems and what would a new liberalism look like? And they formed a center that was going to carry that work forward. But this was in 1938 and in 1939 that was no longer on the table with start of World War II.
