The Importance of a Master Ship in the United States
The U.S. Navy and army were separate entities until after World War II. The ships are unique in a lot of ways too, both like they get used for a lot of things outside the military, right? Transportation, et cetera. And it's also unique that they're more independent. Once the ship sails off for some orders, can't take it back. They're going to do whatever they've got on hand prior to radio technology.
