The Substance of Bread and Wine in the Eucharist
"We make a distinction between what is called substance and what is called axon," he says. "The substance of Johnny is still there, but the exterior qualities have changed" The Eucharist provides spiritual nourishment through unity with Christ and his church,. God wants you to study for your exams. But ultimately that's just a springboard to the life of heaven. Things are much better in heaven after exam time.
