I think she probably meant to frighten him and shot him. And then she's like, why isn't he getting up? She was hysterical. They left. She went next door, called the police, called the ambulance. But she doesn't go in the ambulance. She walks to hospital across the bridge to the hospital. I mean, this is seven o'clock in the morning in October. This is a very small city. Everyone knew each other's business. You didn't get involved in it. Even the police didn't. It's a big conspiracy because they never found the gun.
