I think ideally virtually all of the skills in dbt are about learning how to be proactive. We can't stop all negative things from happening but from where like before an experience becomes really too unmanageable so I am 52 years old as we're speaking today and I'm like a highly sensitive person typeSo while I don't have ADHD I know the feeling of feeling very dysregulated you know I had to learn how to do deep breathing over many years.
