Losing Weight in a Calory Deficit

As we get leaner, we won't be able to maintain the same rate of fat loss without losing muscle. As you get deeper into a cutting phase, you usually have to reduce your calory intake. You can only increase activity evels so much and you will plateau. And what you'll find is if you start eating less than your resting metabolic rate, the side effects can really become pronounced.
