Using ZFS on Only One Disk?
Robin writes, I was wondering if you could mention your thoughts on using ZFS on only one disk. Since my Intel NUC only takes two disks and one is used by the operating system. As far as using the store two copies, you can set copies equals two in ZFS. Keep in mind there are some pretty severe performance implications going on with copies equal to because you literally have to write two copies of everything.
