Reagan accused the Soviets of brainwashing people to orchestrate a massive nuclear cock block. The audience was the National Association of Evangelicals, who take believing in God pretty seriously. Three weeks after calling the Soviet Union an evil empire, Reagan announced he was building a new technology that would intercept and destroy strategic ballistic missiles before they reached our own soil or that of our allies.
