The People That Get You Out of Egypt Aren't the Ones That Get Me Into the Promised Land

How do you cut ties, gracefully, and maybe not so gracefully, with things that are holding on to the past in not serving you at all? Cause when i look around, i see a lot of people do that. And i certainly can point to times in my life where it's not served me very well to be preoccupied with the past. The skills that get you out of egypt aren't the ones that get you into the promised land. But these relationships are all consistent with a future that i have for myself and the future of the company.
