You don't just acknowledge them and dismiss them, but you try to sabotage them,. So in the book, the stoic challenge, i describe, for instance, a setback. A setback is any time life doesn’t go the way you planned and thought it was going to go. And then you're going to notice, if you just sit there, there will be thoughts that start popping into your mind. There'll be feelings of frustration, there might be feelings of anger.
