Ilon musk, the billionaire founder of pay pal, space x, tessla and more, bought twitter this week for about forty four billion dollars. For the record, he hasn't technically bought twitter. He put forth an offer. This has to go to a bunch of legal and regulatory steps where the us. Has to make sure that this doesn't count as monopoly or there's not any other legal issues with it. There is nothing stopping him from accessing your messages and handing them over to a government,. perhaps one in a country where tesla is trying to do business. And just because of this twitter by out, there was a lot of mastodon news as well.
