Dreaming - Isn't the Destination?

i've been challenged how jacob and joseph and others heard god in their dreams. And what was the shift? It was the lack or loss of dreaming. Israel went to egypt because the dream god spoke to him in genesis forty six, verse three. But israel knew this wasn't the destination,. This wasn't the end. He said, do not bury me in egypt, but take me back to the land of my fathers. The same thing happened with JOSEPH after he died being 110 years old. His dreams actually move him to a place of amazing provision.
