The FBI said that white nationalism was the biggest threat to national security in our generation. So when we believe those stories, it's not just bad for us as people, like kindness could actually protect us from those security threats and allow us to survive.

Alicia Garza is an American Civil Rights organizer and writer best known for co-creating the international Black Lives Matter movement. Garza has become one of the most influential voices on the planet in a movement centered around the liberation of black people from authoritative systemic violence.
