Timothy Stanley: Short selling has been going on in markets pretty much as long as there have been markets. He says what Hindenburg is doing is pretty standard in the short seller world. Stanley: For long-term investors, the existence of short sellers is just noise. "Pay no attention to those short sellers behind the curtain," he said.
