I Wore My Own Clothes in the Pilot
Rain created the hair style for dwight, and he's said before that it is based on the hair style that he wore when he was a 16 year old boy. Rain as rain went through poofy hair fase, which looks like they used a little miniature like rolling brush to blow dry his hair. And in fact, you can see it in the background of conference room scenes. You can see a bunch of boxs piled up on jim's desk. When we got picked up, we re shot that scene and turned it into a little pencil thing.
