Is Bounded Set Thinking a Good Idea?

B bounded set thinking is like inside versus outside, whereas centered set thinking is more like you have a goal and you're moving towards it. Another way that that fits into the making of art is in art, we talk about open and closed compositions. An open composition would be one that extends the size of the vase of flowers out to the edges of the painting. You still have to use some imagination because of the way I paint, but part of this, this big dragonfly is flying off the edge here.
