G e has fallen in the last yers. It was associated with perhaps the two lassios, jack welch and jeff emelt. Jack welch built it into this widely admired organization with perhaps some dubious methods. And jeff emil to tried to continue that tradition. But then the wheels came off around five or six years ago; they came off in fairly dramatic ways.
