The Fed's New Duration Forward
Greg Peters: I do believe that rates are too high over the medium of the long term. That will be remedied over time, but it's really critical for the Fed and other central banks to be viewed as vigilant around inflation because credibility is based off the bank. "If you're worried about a recession, then adding duration, having risk out the curve via duration is a very good place to be," he says.
