Before i had any sort of note taking system, this is what would have happened to my information. Most of us take a short term view to how we organize our information. It's time to operate with more of a long term view. And i have a three step system for collecting using all of the content or information we consume across our lives. This system is heavily inspired by david parrell, who developed a process for note taking called the information capture process. Step one is self awareness. Step two is active collection, and step three is compression.
