An Adventist professor of neurology looked at the issue. And he concluded that the evidence for epilepsy was lacking. The diagnosis of a complex partial seizure disorder, temporal lobe or a psychomotor epilepsy, is often difficult even with the help of modern techniques such as electroencephalography and video recording. "I just don't think that we can simply attribute Ellen's visions to epilepsy," says Dr. David Perry.
