This is one of the only strategies, except for the word talks. Soe important about this strategy is that kids are talking about the important terminology in a non teacher directed way. That's what we like. They can't move a term into long term memory. You know, you can memorize something for a quiz or a test or something, but unless you sit there and struggle with it,. Now we want them struggling productively.
