Donald Carlson was a worker at Koch refining. He got blood poisoning from horrific benzene exposure, but the company wouldn't pay his medical bills or give benefits to his wife and daughter. They denied that his illness had anything to do with the fact that he'd been covered in poison for years. His family died in 1997, leaving his family destitute.
