Empathy and Its Importance
The empathy circuit allowed a whole raft of new behaviors or skills. One of them was deception, you could also make another animal believe something to be true when in fact it's false. For example, teaching is all about keeping track of what the student needs to know. We seem to be the only species that can teach in a flexible way.
