We're approaching about a third of our existing national electricity market generation coming from renewables. Let's hope that we can get to 82% renewables by 2030. But for your description of Australia as an electrostate, Alan, it's going to need vastly more arrays of wind and solar. We need about nine times more solar and wind than we have cumulatively today. And when you do the numbers on what's required for transport and heating and all the other uses of fossil fuels in direct combustion or stationary energy: It's three times three.
