Netflix does is to bury all of that because it just doesn't show us which shows are doing while it becomes completely opaque, he says. The model apparently which is widely cited as a contrast to the existing situation in the US is the UK where in the early 2000s they pioneered a model of outsourcing essentially so required outsourcing the big TV channels  for ITV were required to commission at least or show 25% of external commissions on their networks.
