Do Super Recognisers Have a Genetic Component?
Josh: Face recognition ability seems to have a genetic component. He says twin studies show identical twins score far more similarly on face recognition tests than non-identical twins. Josh: Adult super recognizers were better at them controls at recognizing baby faces. But in our sample, we coincidentally had a doctor who worked with babies all the time and her scores were the only ones who were actually higher on the baby face test."
