i think most of us could stand to increase the degree to which we engage this vestibular system in novel ways. load bearing exercise is important for increasing bone density, maintaining muscular strength and proper receptive feed back. A resistance exercise actually trains the nerve to muscle connections as much as it does the muscles themselves. i certainly don't think um, it would be wise for anyone who doesn't have the muscle stabilizing skills, or the um or the bone density, et cetera, to start, like, doing inversions and things of that sort....
