The Importance of Iron in the Body
The main reasons that we need iron are for a number of different metabolic functions probably the main one is for the synthesis of hemoglobin which circulates in our red cells. It's estimated that if we want to look at the instance of iron deficiency worldwide then it's the most common nutritional deficiency disorder globally Estimated that maybe a third of the world's population are iron deficient. Similar number of people globally have anemia and about 50% of anemia cases globally are directly attributable to iron deficiency.
