The Importance of Truth in Islam

In the postmodern condition, everyone makes different truth claims all the time. Each of them have their own justifications or their own qualifications of why their truth is the best. And if each of us are just shouting our own truths at all times, it creates this cacophony of voices where truth itself has no value anymore. It's not an individualistic world. We need to recognize the relationships we have within the community. If a very popular influencer is saying things like I'm speaking my truth, that doesn't just impact her life but impacts millions of people who follow her and how they begin to understand Islam.
