Nostalgia and the Psychological Immune System

Nostalgia could often be the byproduct of this same psychological immune system. People are going to be so nostalgic about Minecraft someday soon and Fortnite probably. We also spend way more time with a given game than we do with other types of media. Video games are also marketed to those who are in the perfect demographic for nostalgia to take root.
