What Is the Path of Light?

If gravity warps space time, then it must also warp the path light travels. In einstein predicted how light would be bent by a gravitating object like the sun. We know where the stars are in the sky at night but can't see them during the day because they're too bright. To test this theory, you'd need it to be daytime, but without the blinding light from the sun. So knowing that an eclipse was coming, arthur eddington and his colleagues went to the island of conceip off the west coast of africa and set up a telescope with photographic plates. And sure enough, it turned out that the stars apparent place in the sky were moved.
