The Cruelty of God

First Samuel chapter 4, the Ark of the Covenant is taken and not just taken but taken by their arch rivals. The Philistines take it and so when the message is clear, God it seems has abandoned us. One of the worst things God could ever do to you is to give you everything you want. Don't assume God is being mean. He could actually be good and kind.
