How to Replicate Skin Cells From Frogs

Zenobots are synthetic living machines which have interesting motile behaviors. They can swim around, they can repair wounds, and as we show in this paper, they can actually replicate and make copies of themselves if provided with appropriate materials. The latest kind of bot has no muscle that is entirely based on skin. By virtue of their movements, they're able to collect local loose cells in the environment into little piles. It is a very basic form of self replication.
