Comedian says he wants to know what blackness is, because everyone has his or her own relationship with it. He believes that we have othered ourselves from africa so much as black people. His early jokes were just a 19-year-old black college student; now they're more about the diasperas my comedy evolved into. The one thing all of us share is pain and figuring out a way to make it easier for each other.
