LZ Granderson: I feel like seminaries do a really good job of confusing people about what justification means such that they don't have the epistemological conviction to preach it once they get in the pulpit. He says Luther understood that justification is a tool for making God's grace experientially salient to people, for it helping it to get traction. LZ: It's not just an idea; it's actually how you say "I am actually beloved by God" and then that context comes into play.
