The Importance of Partnerships in the Biopharma Industry
The platforms we get excited about are the ones that we think will be prolific in terms of creating product opportunities. So by definition it if we've done our job right and we've started something that's really prolific correctly there is almost too much opportunity for one company to prosecute just because of resource constraints and time constraints. partnerships are a great way to to spread our wings and and parallel process a lot more opportunities more quickly. We created a group at flagship called pioneering medicines which actually takes a look at our bio platform companies and says well here's an interesting product that we could create maybe with one of these platforms or a combination of these platforms.
