The Importance of Trend Following in the Stock Market
I think that we have a tendency to talk about diversification and crisis alpha and adding CTA's to your portfolio. I wish the stocks wouldn't keep going up so I think is a mistake stocks are wonderful they're great They're part of the fourth sector is one of the fourth sectors we trade, thankfully we have the stocks because the other three sectors not doing that great for a while. Trend following per se is not managed futures trend following is trend following managed features can mean a lot of things usually what it means is trend following currencies commodities stocks and bonds long and short but trend following seems to be working darn well in the stock market.
