In 2018, two laws that were classified as anti-LGBT were passed into law. So far this year, 51 laws have been passed and more than 400 pieces of legislation were introduced. There was the bathroom bills they had a moment. The last couple years, sports bans for transgender athletes kind of had a moment but now it's starting to slow down.
