The First Quarter Current Account Deficit - It's Going Up
We're now at a five month high in initial unemployment claims, and the four week moving average has moved up to 223 point five thousand. But i think what's even more significant bad news that was released at the same time on th Thursday is the numbers for the first quarter current account deficit which was a shocker based on how bad it was. The expectation was for 277 billion dollar deficit, It came out at 291 point four billion. We've never had a quarterly current account deficit anywhere near that grate.
