What Was Your First Year Like?

I thought I was living the dream. It was exciting to say, okay, well, this is kind of traditional firm and implement it into this firm. So yes, we won clients, but we ended up winning them by lowballing other firms. We didn't really have kind of systems in place, so clients weren't really getting the service that they wanted. Things weren't in a happy place. And thankfully, back in 2014, I came across Mark Wicksham, who you've had on this part in the past. He was my first mentor. That was the kind of turning moment for me when I first discovered that there is a better way of trading time for money.
