Love Is a Debunking Argument, Right?

It seems as if what i usually have to do is disabuse people of the notion hreduction is, or that reductionist arguments are debunking. And i don't know why that is, whether it's just a pattern matching, like in other cases, wheren i find out the causes, it's obviously right.
