The Problem With Fact Checks in Journalism
I don't know if like for instance, fact checks are a good idea. Why are they a bad idea? Well, because inevitably it gets overused and it's used to undermine even further the credibility of the press. I think this is playing into that game to some. How do you deal with bad faith actors who also represent a side is a very difficult challenge in journalism. We're heading into a period where it's going to be magnified 100x.
