The Eurasian Steppe: A Great Movement of Peoples

The Huns live in one of the great ethnic melting pots on the face of the earth. The numbers of people that have exploded out of the heartland over by the Altai mountains and then usually spreading southward and westward have subsumed numerous tribes in the past. You had Turks, you had Magyars, you had Avars, which are both Turks. Of course, you had Mongolians eventually. I'm firmly in the camp by the way of those people trying to change the soft sea back to the hard sea as it used to be.
