Thanks to technology and all these advances, retirement was like you retire at 65 and the idea is you might be live another 10 years after that. But now people are living well into their 90s and you could possibly even have a second career even after you retire. You're retiring at age 65, your life expectancy might be your early 90s on average. So what does that tell you? Having that lifetime stream of income from social security and perhaps immediate fixed annuity is super valuable.
